Yokoyama Engineering Co., Ltd., is a brewing equipment manufacturer located in Nagoya, Aichi. Since our founding in 1973, we have always provided original products in the field of sake brewing and other fermented food equipment .

~Company History~
- December 1973 Founded in Kita-ku, Nagoya. Started manufacturing and sales of brewing equipment and food-related equipment.
- February 1975 Completed the equipment and system of the rice flour saccharification plant.Begin practical application to the sake brewing industry.
- August 1980 Headquarters moved to Naka-ku, Nagoya.
- March 1981 Developed the sake lees distillation dryer “SGD type”. Patent application for equipment and manufacturing method (currently owned). The first shochu boom arrived. Delivered a large number of vacuum distillation equipment.
- March 1983 Completed a new Vacuum Steam distraction machine for shochu production“VD type”.
- June 1984 The company was the first in Japan to put into practical use an innovative sake production method (white rice liquefaction device).Patent application for equipment and manufacturing method(All now)。
- September 1985 Delivered a large number of SGDs for Public Welfare Bureau of the Taiwan Provincial Government.
- October 1986 Delivered the first FA comprehensive plant using the white rice liquefaction method to the eastern Japan region.
- May 1987 Supplied a sake production equipment to APLIM. in U.S.A.
- November 1988 Supplied a sake production pilot plant to R.C.L. in Australia.
- April 1989 Development of honey refining plant and start receiving orders.
- December 1990 Delivery of one of the largest honey refining plants in Japan. Delivered a large-scale FA plant for vinegar to western Japan.
- November 1991 Delivered a sake production plant to western Japan using the white rice liquefaction method.
- April 1993 Through the development of a new technology commissioned by the Japan Sake Brewers Association, we have developed a sake lees distillation dryer that applies microwaves. We have paved the way for the development of new uses for sake lees. In the same way, we started developing an Automatic filter press machine(FP90) for ginjo sake.
- October 1993 More than 50 companies have delivered sake brewing plants.
- August 1994 The head office was moved to Nishi-ku, Nagoya City (current address).
- October 1994 Delivered a pilot plant of fuzzy-controlled sake brewing equipment to the Aichi Food Industry Technology Center.
- January 1995 Developed a small sake production plant “Sake for 21”.Started sales of an Automatic filter press for ginjo sake.
- April 1996 Delivered a 1,000 kL-class FA sake brewing plant to Australia.
- December 1997 Delivered the Sake for 21 small sake brewing plant to western Japan.
- January 1998 Delivered the Sake for 21 small sake brewing plant to the Chubu region.
- June Started sales of new sake lees vacuum distillation equipment “SVD type”. Patent application. Delivered the sake brewing equipment for high-end sake to Aichi.
- September 2000 Delivered the sake brewing equipment as a preparation and storage facility to Aichi.
- August 2001 Delivered an FA plant for Mirin to Aichi.
- June 2004 Increased sales of SVD type.
- April 2006 Delivered a bioethanol plant to Nagoya.
- August 2009 SVD type is applied to essential oil extraction (new technology).
- 2020 Increased sales of Automatic filter press machines.
- 2022 Development of copper atmospheric distillation machine “ADC type” for whisky.
- 2023 The company celebrates its 50th anniversary.
